(except bigots, y’all don’t act right)
Working With Me
If you’re looking for a therapist who will not only offer helpful tools and coping strategies, but also understand your niche references, I just might be the therapist for you. I take pride in my non-traditional style and "come as you are" ethos. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and eclectic. You can expect to learn skills from ACT, mindfulness, somatic grounding, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, and CBT. I aim to find which tools fit best for you, instead of the other way around. All of this is done with transparency, consent, and collaboration!
My expertise makes me an especially good fit for folks who are:
LGBTQIA +
Neurodivergent
In helping professions, experiencing stress, burnout, depression
Working on boundaries, perfectionism, & people-pleasing
Seeking mental health support for challenges related to hormones & fertility challenges.
Whoever you are and whatever brings you my way, I’m stoked to meet you.
My Background
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 14 years experience serving people from all walks of life. Much of my career has been in healthcare: I’ve worked with people living with HIV/AIDS, veterans experiencing suicidal ideation and/or intimate partner violence, families navigating end of life care for a loved one, and folks navigating the everyday stressors of life. My goal has been to help people feel safe, seen, and supported.
I started my own practice with a simple principle in mind: therapy doesn’t need to be stuffy or miserable to be effective. To me, therapy feels a little bit like science, a little bit like magic. Thus, “Wellcraft” was born. I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to be with folks through a chapter of their life and, to borrow from poet Mary Oliver, understand their place in the family of things. No matter your reason for joining me here, know that I’m so excited to get to know you. That next step you have on your journey? Let’s take it together.
